Kate Hawkings has been strutting her stuff on the floors of various Bristol restaurants for decades.. Working her way up from waitressing as an art student, and writing simultaneously, she was part of the team behind Bell’s Diner & Bar Rooms. At the end of 2015, she opened Bellita, billed as the Bell’s Diner’s naughty little sister. She also writes about food and drink and is the Chair of the Guild of Food Writers.
