Chair Tim Hayward is a food writer, radio presenter and owner of the iconic Cambridge restaurant Fitzbillies.

From Rocinantes to Bells Diner, Kate Hawkings has worked many of Bristol’s favourite restaurants. She is also a food writer and current Chair of the Guild of Food Writers.

Freddy Bird learnt his trade with Sam and Sam Clarke at Moro before moving to Bristol to run the kitchen at The Lido.

Xanthe Clay trained as a chef and sold cookery books before joining the Daily Telegraph. She currently writes food and cookery features for Weekend Telegraph .

Nathan Lee worked bars and restaurants in Bristol before teaming up with Jason Mead to open a string of successful places in the city; Hyde & Co, Milk Thistle, Pata Negra and The Ox which this year broke into the top 50 in the prestigious National Restaurant Awards.
