Bristol Food Connections has teamed up with Butcombe Brewery to create a new festival beer, and we need you to think of a name.
Butcombe Brewery is the first festival partner for Bristol Food Connections 2019 and will be creating the first ever Food Connections Festival Beer!
The beer will be a 3.8% hoppy, session pale ale. You’ll be able to savour a dry hopped beer giving a creamy head and extra flavour. It’s going to be light amber in colour and made using Challenger, WGV and Fuggles hops, giving a spicy, well-balanced flavour. Maris Otter adds a nice maltiness to the beer. Quite simply it is going to be the perfect beer for the summer – light, hoppy and refreshing.
In addition to sponsoring the festival, Butcombe is generously donating 10p from every pint sold to Bristol Food Connections to create and support community events for the 2020 festival.

Available at all official festival venues and across the Butcombe pubs and inns estate from Bath to Gloucestershire, the beer will be sold in the free trade from 13thMay. Stocking the beer is the perfect opportunity for bars, restaurants and venues across the city to support Bristol Food Connections.
Competition closes Sunday 17th March 2019. Winners will be selected by a panel from Bristol Food Connections and Butcombe. The winner will be announced in May. Full T&C can be found below.
