Join the Festival Hub Team
Want to get stuck into the ins-and-outs of running an event venue and be an essential part of the team? Then join our Festival Hub core team! You will be located at the Bristol Energy Hub on the Harbourside throughout the week of Food Connections. Jobs involve general assistance such as opening up and preparing the space, helping with children’s workshops, staffing the Food Connections reception and bookshop, helping in the transition of events and closing the space. Shifts take place in either the morning or afternoon across the festival week.
“Breakfast On The Train” – The 7:04 To Severn Beach
On Monday 11th June we will need some volunteers to help out at our event ‘The 7:04 To Severn Beach: A Free, Healthy Breakfast’ – handing out healthy breakfast bags to 300 passengers!
Go Faster Food Helpers
Come help out at Go Faster Food’s exciting and energetic event taking place on Wednesday 13th June on Millennium Square. The role will include helping people register, welcoming new arrivals, handing out clipboards with disclaimers, handing out water etc.
Triodos Foundation Space Assistance
Help make this event venue run smoothly. Assist area managers with opening the space, transitioning between events, keeping time and making sure all is going to plan. This role involves moving chairs & tables. With your help, we’ll make such events as the “Transforming the Education System Through Food” shine!
We will need help throughout the week to visit various events across the city – if you’re good with social media, tracking information, and are able to get yourself around with ease, then this is the role for you!
We can cover train or bus travel expenses to your shift in Bristol – please provide a receipt at the end of your last shift.
