Yasmin Khan

Yasmin Khan is a writer and cook on a mission to showcase the side of Iran that never makes the headlines: its amazing food. Join her as she shares the secrets of Persian cuisine and serves them up alongside a slice of contemporary Iranian life. Born in London, Yasmin’s love affair with Iranian food began as a small child, where she would spend long, balmy, summer holidays on her grandparents’ rice farm in northern Iran.

When she’s not in the kitchen, Yasmin has worked as a human rights campaigner  for NGOs and grassroots groups for over a decade, running national and international campaigns on issues such as the militarism and poverty – with a special focus on the Middle East.
