Dee Davies is the creator and Brand Ambassador of Jinzu, a British Gin with a Japanese twist, which made her winner of the 2013 Diageo Show Your Spirit competition.
Dee’s passion for bartending and cocktails began aged 18, and currently works at Bristol favourite The Red Light, one of several establishments responsible for the rise of the city’s reputation on the cocktail scene.
Dee combined her passion for spirits with her longstanding fascination with Japanese culture to create Jinzu, infusing a traditional gin with Japanese botanicals and sake. After beating off hundreds of competitors, Dee was invited to spend a week at Diageo’s innovation centre.
