Dan Saladino is the series producer of BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme; he has also presented award-winning editions of the programme (on subjects ranging from craft beer to guerrilla gardening in downtown Los Angeles).
Dan started working for BBC Radio more than 20 years ago, working on a range of programmes from investigative documentaries to daily live magazine programmes. Much of his childhood summer holidays were spent in Italian restaurants (where his father spent most of his working life) or citrus and olive groves in Sicily (which is where most of family lives), and so an interest in food started from an early age.
