Mageiros’ Feast - from Iran to Sudan

Working with wonderful Sudanese and Iranian-born home cooks, Mageiros brings you a mouth-watering, vegetarian, family-friendly and alcohol-free feast. We will be serenading you with sounds from Sudan and if you want to be part of it just bring your instrument!

This isn’t restaurant food, this is real food!

The Mageiros project uses food to help people from different cultures connect. In multicultural areas like Easton, food can be a way to facilitate integration. There is potential to work with refugees and asylum seekers giving them a sense of purpose and helping to forge a sense of integration. We gather together to cook, learn and eat as well as providing for many an alternative space to practice English. Food connects us to people, places and memories. It’s a source of adventure and exploration. It’s a link to the comfort of home, to places we have been and places we have yet to visit. Everybody welcome!

£10 per person, £2.50 for under-12s
