We’re hosting a series of open door cookery sessions at cookery schools across South Bristol that make up the Community Cookery group; come and have a taste of what we do.
Community Cookery in South Bristol is an active collective that includes: Knowle West Health Association (KWHA), Square Food Foundation (SFF), Hartcliffe Health, Environment and Action Group (HHEAG), Man Alive Cooking Team and Knowle West Media Centre (KWMC).
During Food Connections we’ll all be using locally grown spinach, grown by Steve Griffiths, who won Local Food Hero at last year’s BBC Food and Farming Awards. There will be a different recipe at each location, on a different day and time, so that you can visit as many of the cookery schools as you like, so come and see what’s cooking in your community.
