This is a one-day event with volunteers coming to help in the fields. People of all ages are welcome. In the morning Earthwise be running additional activities for families with young children (under-fives but older siblings welcome) where they’ll get hands-on with sensory activities, harvesting, planting and examining bugs around the farm.
We plan to give our education area some post-winter tender loving care, sow courgettes and plant up the polytunnels ready for summer.
At lunchtime we’ll cook some nourishing soup and ask visitors to bring some goodies to share too.
