Bristol Food Connections is known for a huge array of feasts, picnics festivities and pop-up suppers. These events are at the very heart of the festival, as they fit so well with our desire to connect people through food.

A Tale of Two Cities: Food Wealth and Poverty in Bristol – A Debate, Conversation and Dinner at Colston Hall – Join Bristol food hero, Barny Haughton and his Square Food Foundation to debate the city’s disparate food identities, followed by a reception, drinks and a three-course dinner.
Big Blaise Picnic – a family-friendly day at Blaise Community Garden, looking at how to grow your own ingredients and cook simple, healthy food outdoors.
Surplus Food Feast with FareShare South West – a mouth-watering three-course banquet made entirely from food that would have otherwise gone to waste. Live music, delicious food and great company!
Unprocessed Amy’s BS3 Supper Club – a seven-course celebration of local suppliers, the main ingredient of each course will spell out ‘BRISTOL’!
Minum Petang – Afternoon Tea with Malaysian Kitchen – Malaysian food is a melting pot of Malay, Chinese and Indian dishes, most of which can be eaten at any time of the day. This afternoon tea the perfect way to sample sweet and savoury dishes.
A Midsummer Night of Wild Cocktails and Feasting – Get off work early and welcome in the summer on Summer Solstice! Begin at 3pm and learn to make a range of syrups, bitters and infusions from foraged ingredients. Then enjoy a A Midsummer Night’s Dream inspired feast at 7pm.
