Wine Dinner with Mateus Nicolau de Almeida

Theme: Feasting & Festivities, Food Journeys
    Venue: City Centre
    On: Saturday 16th June
    Time: 7:00 pm

In keeping with this year’s theme of Time we have Portugal’s Young winemaker of the Year 2016. Mateus Nicolau de Almeida is in Bristol to present his wines that celebrate the diversity of the soil and climate of the Douro region of northern Portugal.

Bristol and Porto are twinned cities and have historic trade links which we at Xisto Wines have reconnected using an engineless sailing ship to transport the wines to you, sailing under the PORT O’BRISTOL flag.

This will be a very special event with the celebrated winemaker Mateus Nicolau de Almeida introducing his wines along with a three course dinner. Tucha Pinto-Leite is our chef this evening who hails from Sintra near Lisbon.

It’s a unique opportunity to share an intimate dinner in beautiful surroundings and listen to Mateus speak about his wines and the Douro Valley which he is so passionate about.
