The Future Food Banquet, presented by Poco and Chefs’ Manifesto *SOLD OUT*

Uk Best Sustainable Restaurant Poco Tapas Bar & The Chefs Manifesto* are collaborating with a pantheon of Bristol’s finest chefs to explore that most critical question, “what does a truly sustainable diet look like?”

There will be a multi-course feast created by Rob Howell (Root), Genevieve Taylor and Jo Ingleby (FoodFireEarth), Piran Peters (Bellita), Ian Clark and Maddie Canvin (Poco), Josh Eggleton (Pony and Trap) and Peter Sanchez (Casamia). Each course will represent one of the key manifesto points of the Chefs Manifesto, outlining ways in which chefs, who bridge the gap between farm and fork, can contribute to achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goal 2 – Zero Hunger and be advocates for a better food future.

The evening will start with a welcome cocktail, canapés and a conversation lead by Sheila Dillon (Radio 4 Food Programme) with some of the country’s leading experts in sustainable food, including Tim Lang (Author of Sustainable Diets), Patrick Holden CBE (Founder of Sustainable Food Trust), Rachel de Thample (Chef, Author), and Nick Saltmarsh (Hodmedods) before moving on to the banquet set over several levels of the Colston Halls iconic atrium.

*The Chefs’ Manifesto is a chef-led network bringing together a global network of like-minded chefs to explore how they can help deliver a sustainable food system and collectively work towards achieving the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals by 2030.

All profits of this event will be donated to Bristol Food Producers
