Garlic Scapes, What they are, & What to do with them with Josephine Boswell, daughter of The Garlic Farmer

The Garlic Farm on the Isle of Wight grows, sources and produces the best quality garlic bulbs and speciality garlic products. As a third-generation family farm, their passion for excellent garlic inspired-produce has led to an ever-increasing range of sauces, mayonnaises, and garlicky chutneys.  An unsung hero of the garlic plant is the flowering head, otherwise known as the scape.  Josephine will be sharing the wonders and versatility of this otherwise wasted ingredient and the many ways you can use it.  Her talk will also involve garlic for health, cooking with garlic, and how to grow your own.

This demo is free and does not require pre-registration.
