Did you know that the vast majority of food surplus happens before it even gets to the supermarket? The national charity FareShare receives this food in its 21 centres across the nation.

In Bristol, volunteers at FareShare South West work to redistribute over 300 tonnes a year of in date, perfectly edible surplus food to over 150 charities, saving it from going to waste. For two days only, FSSW is opening its warehouse doors during working hours to give you a sneak peak of what goes on in the busy world of food surplus- and how you could get involved.
