Carib-Asian Fusion

Broadcasters and husband and wife team Patrick Hart and Sherrie Eugene-Hart team up once again for Bristol Food Connections to share their culinary fusion secrets of spice blending from South Asia and the Caribbean.

These secrets were told to them by their mums, so one or two may remain secret, but the pair will share their love of cooking, blending, fusing and of course eating. Believing that the Carib-Asian food fusion concept is a euphemism for culture understanding culture, Patrick and Sherrie invite you to take your seats with friends old and new as you enjoy a demonstration of Carib Asian Chicken, Dhal, Sweet Potato, Aubergine, and Spicey Slaw.

Whilst Pat and Sherrie love food, they also love music and poetry and the event will be filled with Rhythms and Rhymes reflected in their book The Carib Asian Cookery Book Recipes and Rhymes, published by Silverwood Books.
