‘Love Baby’ presents ‘Breastfeeding & Beyond’, in collaboration with ‘Human Milk’

Human milk is the perfect, most sustainable food for human babies. And breastfeeding isn’t just food, it’s also medicine. There is a plethora of antiviral and antibacterial properties in our milk. It also has anti-inflammatory properties and sets up a healthy gut microbiome. How can we all support mothers to continue to breastfeed for as long as they are mutually happy and thriving?

Join us for an information packed day with Human Milk CIC Founder and Director Claire Tchaikowski, Prof Amy Brown (Author of Breastfeeding Uncovered, Why Starting Solids Matters and The Positive Breastfeeding Book) Practitioners and Bristol City Council and Barnardo’s network of infant feeding specialists and advisors.

We start the day with a word from our sponsor, Susie Hewson the founder of Natracare - the manufacturer of the world’s first brand of organic & natural period products that respect women’s bodies and our planet - followed by a massive photo shoot of mums and their breastfed babies.

The day has a packed schedule of panel discussions, workshops, cooking demonstrations and a free breastfeeding support drop-in room. Supporting the event will be ethical baby related brands, local businesses and charities all offering information and merchandise.
