Cheese, Beer & Wine School with Trethowan’s Dairy

The West Country is home to a mind-boggling array of cheese, from Bath Blue to Helford Camembert - gone are the days when it was all about Cheddar!

Gone too are the days when it was an automatic choice to pair your cheese with wine. Ben Ticehurst, Head Cheese-Maker at Trethowan’s Dairy, will shed light on how such a wide range of cheeses can be made in the one region, as well as looking at what drink to match with each one.

Participants will get to taste and learn about some of the UK’s best-loved farmhouse cheeses, and what delicious drinks to pair them with. Matthew Eggens of Averys cellars will be guiding you through the liquid refreshments.
