Living City: The Anatomy of a Green Capital

Our ability to be healthy and happy is directly affected by the city that we live in. So how do we make both city and dweller as healthy and happy as possible?

Opening during the Bristol Food Connections Festival, this exhibition sets out to communicate the relationship that exists between health, well-being and the built environment. Using a ‘city as body’ analogy, Living City: The Anatomy of a Green Capital introduces the mind, body and spirit of the city.

Illustrated with international examples, themes include Mouth: Consumption & food - How can we improve food production and healthy eating? and Heart:
Communities & culture - What are we passionate about and what do we love?

The exhibition is curated by the Architecture Centre in collaboration with the WHO Collaborating Centre for Healthy Urban Environments at UWE and with support from Amalgam Modelmakers.
