New Food Frontiers 2015: The Seed Fund & First Great Western Producer Awards 2015

Bristol Food Connections and First Great Western railways are passionate about supporting local food producers and to helping them travel to new food frontiers. As part of that commitment, First Great Western have joined forces with The Seed Fund, a philanthropic project that showcases regional talent, to jointly offer two fantastic prizes to food producers from the South West and Wales for 2015.

The judging and presentation of both awards will take place at the live-finals on May 3rd, as part of the Bristol Food Connections festival. Hosted by a surprise celebrity compare, finalists will be invited to pitch their products to a judging panel of food experts including Dan Saladino of BBC Radio 4’s Food Programme, Guy Watson of Riverford Organic and environmental Guardian journalist, Lucy Siegle, in front of a live studio audience.

Winner(s) will be awarded £100,000 worth of marketing, design and businesses resources from food experts The Collaborators, plus the chance to win a contract with First Great Western, who are proud to support communities wherever their trains travel.

Participate in the live-studio audience for this event to taste-test delicious products from all the finalists. Tickets cost £5.00 and include a tasting of each product presented. We need you to help us decide which product deserves to be crowned the Seed Fund winner 2015.

Audience tickets: £5.00 via Eventbrite.
