Home

Home is for us to consider and celebrate what nourishes us and feeds our soil and soul.

Lucy Portman will be exhibiting paintings that are inspired by working on the land within the city, primarily at Feed Bristol.

On the Sunday there will be a BBQ at the venue between 12:00pm and 3:00pm with organic burgers from Stream Farm – winners of “Best Local Meat” at the Bristol Good Food Awards 2015.

This is a free event

There are 3 of us involved in Home: a couple called Will & Pip Campbell-Clause and Lucy Portman, we are passionate about food and it has been a catalyst for a deep friendship as we guerrilla garden together, share tips on smoking fish, and focus our livelihoods on creating a more wholesome and intimate connection with the way we and our community eat. Will works for Stream Farm and is a potter, Pip is doing a PhD in Food Ethics and the Eucharist and makes music as Pip and the Polar Bears. Lucy is an artist who is currently making a body of work inspired by her allotment and placement at an urban food growing project called ‘Feed Bristol’, where she is learning about horticulture, conservation and people care.
