Home Hydroponics for families with grOWN IT

*We are sorry to say that this event has been cancelled*

Hydroponics is a subset of hydroculture, which is a method of growing plants without soil by instead using mineral nutrient solutions in a water solvent.

During this interactive workshop, explore exactly what it takes to get food on your family’s plates, discover the power in your shopping basket and re-imagine the future of food growing.

You’ll investigate food systems, sustainable growing and urban farming. You and your family will learn about hydro and aquaponics and build your own hydroponic growing system to take home, complete with seeds and everything you need to grow up!

Recommended for ages 6 and up!
