Fringe festival submissions for 2016 are now closed. But get your thinking hats on for next year…

Want to be part of our Fringe Festival programme?

Food Connections is here to celebrate the work that you all do.

Our aim is to bring the city together to highlight the people and communities behind the food we eat. We want to draw attention to the positive impacts of healthy, local food systems, and make more people aware of the farmers, the growers, the chefs, the bakers, the brewers, the restaurants, and the whole food community, who work tirelessly to put good food and drink on our tables. Over a period of nine days, our aim is to get as many of you as possible talking, sharing and teaching people about the love and the labour that goes into creating food that educates and inspires.

If you’ve got big ideas about how to bring people together around food, then we want to hear from you. Whether it’s a bread-making workshop, community festival, pop-up supper, or early morning coffee rave, we are inviting applications from Bristol’s thriving independent food scene to help us celebrate the best that the city has to offer.

Food Connections can help with promoting and ticketing your event, and where possible match ideas to available spaces around the city. However you need to be in the position to organise and deliver your event between 29th April and 7th May, and should have good existing communications channels for promoting your event locally.
